Preparation should follow the scope and instructions agreed with the service provider. The aim is to give the crew clear access without asking the owner to perform risky work. Raise unusual access or fragile-item questions before the visit.

Work through it

  1. Clear ordinary movable items from the immediate work area where practical. Identify fragile furnishings, alarms, pets and any rooms with restricted access.
  2. Confirm gates, parking and the on-site contact. Tell the crew about damaged glass, loose hardware or sensitive surfaces you already know about.
  3. Keep the written scope available and plan a brief completion review. Ask about any area that could not be accessed rather than assuming it was completed.

Check your result

  • Access arrangements are current.
  • Known damage or fragile areas are identified.
  • The completion review follows the agreed scope.
